Dermaplaning Facial
Dermaplaning leaves you with brighter, smoother skin by scraping off the top layer of dead skin cells, peach fuzz and excess oils with a medical blade. We follow the procedure with cooling and hydrating the skin. This treatment can remove up to two weeks worth of dead skin and the results last about three weeks.

Dual Exfoliation
Combines manual and chemical exfoliation into one service. By removing the uppermost layer of dead skin manually, it enables the plant peel to penetrate more thoroughly. The plant peel imitates the effects of a 30% glycolic peel with little to no irritation. Followed by calming and hydrating the skin based on specific needs and concerns.

Dermaplaning: Dermaplaning can help minimize the appearance of acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles and dry, dull skin. After a treatment, avoid direct sun exposure for 3 days and stay protected with a mineral sunblock. Try to avoid makeup immediately after your treatment. If you need to wear makeup, you can, but it's best to let the skin breathe for the day. Dermaplaning will not make your hair grow back thicker or darker.
Before your Facial:
Skip any strong at home facial treatments the week before your appointment.
Know the names of your skincare products at home. Even better, snap a photo of them before your appointment.
Stay out of the sun or tanning for a few days prior. Sunburn and exfoliation do not mix. A hydrating recovery facial may be most beneficial to calm and cool the skin.

Our goal at Spa 511 is to provide our clients with discrete and exceptional service in a clean comfortable environment. Waxing removes hair at the root, allowing clearer skin longer than shaving and with less irritation or ingrowns. Regrowth is tapered, so hair grows back softer, finer and shallower, allowing for the waxing process to become less painful with time. We carry a variety of wax that we use based on skin sensitivity and hair type for the least painful experience possible. We recommend a schedule based on the growth cycles of the hair, typically every 4-6 weeks. First time clients need to allow 3-4 weeks of growth for the best result.

Wax FAQ
Hair must be ¼ to ½ inch at the shortest to be removed. If coming in for the first time, please allow 3-4 weeks of growth for the best possible service. No shaving in between appointments.
First-time clients will notice the regrowth typically from 2 to 3 weeks. When you start to regularly wax on a schedule, the length of time between waxes will get longer. After your fourth or fifth visit at 4-5 week regular intervals, all your hair will be in the same hair growth cycle and will be a good wax-able, length at the same time. This helps keep discomfort to a minimum.
